Would you, could you: Third grade writers innovate on a Dr. Seuss classic

One of the ways young writers learn is by innovating on a pattern -- especially one they really like.  Recently, our writers did their own version of Dr. Seuss' Green Eggs and Ham.  Read this and enjoy, but if you'd like, come by and look at the picture book version in class, one they illustrated themselves.  The book really brings the text to life, and, in many cases adds visual jokes to the book that you would be able to "get" by just reading the text below.
